Below are the questions we most frequently receive from procurement teams, brand managers, and architects — with answers that go straight to the point.

Sampling & Evaluation

Q: How do I get physical samples?

Send a request through the form on our contact page or directly via WhatsApp. Specify the material you are interested in (synthetic rattan, rope, or both), the application, and — if you have them — the diameter or profile range you are considering. Our team will prepare a relevant sample pack and dispatch it within 48 business hours.

Q: Are samples free?

Our standard sample pack is provided at no cost to procurement teams and brands in an active specification process. For large-volume sample requests or custom color samples, there is a formulation cost that we will confirm upfront.

Q: Can I request SGS lab reports along with samples?

Yes. Lab reports are available to qualified procurement teams under a standard NDA. Include your company information when submitting your request and we will process it together with your sample package.

Q: Is a factory visit possible?

Yes, with prior scheduling. For buyers in serious evaluation, we strongly welcome direct visits — you can observe the extrusion, braiding, and quality control processes in real time. Contact us at least 2 weeks before your preferred date.

Custom Color

Q: What's the difference between custom color and the standard catalogue colors?

Standard colors are palettes we have developed based on market trends and widely used across the industry — stock is available, lead times are faster. Custom color is a pigment formula we develop exclusively for you based on a color reference you provide. The formula is stored as yours and will not be used for other buyers without your consent.

Q: What color reference formats do you accept?

Almost any format: Pantone codes (TPX, TCX, or PMS), physical samples shipped to us, fabric or material swatches, RAL codes, or reference photos with a description of the mood you are targeting. The more precise the reference, the more accurate the match.

Q: How accurate is the color matching?

Our target is Delta-E < 1.5, which in the industry is considered a "virtual match" — indistinguishable to the human eye under normal lighting conditions. For very high-saturation colors, neons, or metallics, tolerances may be slightly wider, and we will be transparent about that before production.

Q: Is there a specific MOQ for custom color?

Yes. Custom color requires a compound batch setup that has a minimum production volume to keep cost per meter efficient. MOQ varies depending on the diameter and material profile. Contact us for details — we will work with your scale and ordering frequency.

Q: If I place a repeat order, will the color be consistent with the first lot?

Yes — this is one of the core advantages of our custom color system. The formula is stored in our system with documented production parameters. Repeat orders use the same formula, maintaining color consistency between lots.

Technical Specifications

Q: What materials do you produce?

We produce three material categories:

  • Synthetic Rattan (NX-SR) — flat, half-round, round, and twisted profiles in various gauges
  • Leather Grain Finish (NX-LG) — synthetic rattan with an embossed leather texture, available in various colors
  • Premium Rope (NX-RP) — twisted and braided rope in various diameters and core compositions

Q: Is a flame retardant (FR) variant available?

Yes. We offer an FR compound variant meeting ASTM D635-22 (HB class). Suitable for projects requiring fire safety compliance — architectural applications, hospitality projects with code compliance requirements, and facade systems. Specify your FR requirement when requesting samples.

Q: What is anti-chlorine rope and when should I specify it?

Anti-chlorine rope is a specialty compound formulation designed to resist chemical degradation from chlorinated water. It is mandatory for poolside furniture, marine environments, and spa areas. Standard rope — even high-quality UV-stabilized rope — is not sufficient for these environments because the degradation mechanism differs from UV.

Q: Is material with recycled content available?

Yes, we have formulations with recycled content for projects requiring EU REACH compliance or with sustainability mandates from project owners. Content levels and certification documentation are available — contact us for details.

Q: What are the gauge tolerances?

Our gauge tolerance is ±0.2mm for standard flat profiles, and ±0.1mm for high-precision profiles on request. Tolerances per SKU are provided in the technical data sheet included with samples.

Procurement & Logistics

Q: What are the production lead times?

For standard stock material: 2–4 weeks. For custom color or custom profiles: 4–6 weeks from sample approval, depending on volume. Lead times are confirmed in writing after the purchase order is received.

Q: Does Nextouch do OEM?

Yes. We accept OEM partnerships for brands requiring material with exclusive specifications, labeling, or packaging. Discuss your OEM needs with our team.

Q: Which countries does Nextouch ship to?

We ship worldwide. Our material currently ships to over 20 countries, including markets in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Shipping is handled through freight forwarders — we can recommend logistics partners if you do not already have one.

Q: What are the payment terms?

Our standard terms are 50% deposit on order confirmation, 50% before dispatch. For buyers with a repeat purchase track record, terms are open for discussion. We accept T/T, L/C, and other methods by agreement.

Q: Is there a price list I can access?

Our pricing is volume, profile, and specification-dependent — so we do not publish a general price list. For pricing, send us your requirements (material, profile/diameter, estimated volume, and order frequency) and our team will provide a quotation within 1 business day.

Q: Do you work with smaller volumes?

We are a B2B manufacturer and typically work with volumes relevant to production. For initial evaluation and sampling, there is no minimum. For production, MOQ varies by product. Contact us — we would rather have a conversation than have you not reach out because you are concerned your volume is too small.

Q: How do I get started?

Easiest way: reach out through the form on our contact page, email sales@nextouchindonesia.com, or WhatsApp us directly. Tell us about your project, the material you are considering, and your timeline. We respond within 24 business hours.
